We collect account information you provide when registering, including your name, email address, and phone number. For seller accounts, we also collect business information such as your company name and registration details. Payment information is processed directly by Stripe — we do not store card numbers or bank details on our servers. We also collect usage data such as pages visited, features used, and session activity to help us operate and improve the platform.
We use the information we collect to provide and operate the SUQ platform, process transactions on your behalf, send service-related emails (such as order confirmations and account notices), and comply with applicable legal obligations. We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with the sub-processors necessary to deliver the service: Stripe for payment processing, Resend for transactional email, Neon for database hosting, and Vercel for infrastructure and edge delivery. All processors are contractually bound to GDPR-compliant data handling standards.
Account data is retained for the duration of your active account and for 90 days following account deletion, after which it is permanently removed from our systems. Transaction records, including invoices and payment history, are retained for 7 years in compliance with financial record-keeping requirements.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@suq.et. We will respond within 30 days.
